What a great Christmas celebration! God blessed us with a great trip to Nebraska to see our families. We were able to fly home to be with our families. For Monica's side of the family, it's been 8 years since we were together over Christmas. And that time we all got the stomach flu. But this year we were all healthy and had so much fun hanging out together. We had a white Christmas with beautiful snow covering everything. Then the following day, it all melted and the weather warmed up enough for us to play outside with all the nieces and nephews. One day the guys all baby-sat the kids (5 children age 8 and under). And my sisters and mom and I went out to lunch together. What fantastic conversation we had without little chatter from the munchkins. When we returned about 2:30, one child was still in her pajamas. Another had no pants on. And a third was missing his shirt. How fun! We love the way that Daddies baby-sit.

Christmas Melodies

I thought I should post something about myself lest this become solely Reagan's blog. These are some of my students at the Contemporary School of Fine Arts. We had a beautiful Christmas recital to end our semester. God has given me such a wonderful teaching situation. The music school is at a Baptist church only 4 miles from our house. So I teach there one evening a week. And my neighbor baby-sits Reagan until Mark gets home from work. Doesn't God care for us with generosity?
